Since I was a child, I have always wanted a cat, but was never allowed to have one.

In 1999, my first kitten Snickle, found us and decided we were the puuuuurfect family for him. He was the first of several rescues and adopted cats.

 

Three years ago, my best friend told me of the CAT HOUSE ON THE KINGS. A very unique Feline No Kill, No Cage Sanctuary in Parlier, CA. That same year, on my birthday, I went and spent a weekend at the Sanctuary and fell in love with it. It is a wonderful enlightening experience and an amazing place to see!! I consider it an honor to have met Lynea Lattanzio (the founder) and to be able to help her in her endeavor.

 

Since then, I have been volunteering, doing anything I can to help. My main task is "KITTEN TRANSPORT". I drive 2 or 3 times a month from Los Angeles to the Sanctuary and back. I take surrenders with me and I bring back to Los Angeles 10 - 20 kittens/cats to local rescues, so that they can be adopted, as part of an Exchange Program between the rescues and the Sanctuary.

 

As I grew closer to the Sanctuary and the cats, and especially having to deal with surrenders.... I decided to study and got my Certification as Feline Trainer and Behavioral Specialist. My main goal as a Feline Behaviorist is to help cats keep their home; find their furrever homes if they do not have one and also educate the Guardians of the cats, so that they can have a better relationship with them. I have clocked in over 400 field hours and counting. Lots of happy clients from as far as Lithuania and I love what I am doing. Worked with FIXNATION, SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SIAMESE RESCUE, PUURFECT SOLUTIONS FELINE RESCUE all in Los Angeles, ARF - Animal Rescue Friends in Idyllwild, CA., SAN JACINTO VALLEY ANIMAL SHELTER, San Jacinto, CA., THE ARK OF SAN JUAN RESCUE, San Juan Capistrano, CA. Presently working with ASPCA and K9KATS PROFESSIONAL PETSITTING.
